| Religious Education Science is a branch of science that deals with the teaching of religion. This branch of science is one of the newest branches of science in Turkey. Despite this, the diversity and breadth of the study areas draws attention. It is important to plan and direct the study areas by considering the theoretical and practical needs of the Religious Education Department.In this context, the research areas of the Religious Education Department were tried to be determined in the research. In order to make this determination, in April 2022, the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Institution was scanned. In this framework, 255 doctoral theses were identified and all of them were included in the research.
