| April 4-5, 2021 Proceedings book 682 stores. For this reason, different architectural configurations come to the fore in the stores. Within the scope of the study, with the start of the industrialization process, the architectural shaping process of the stores of different qualities, in which innovative approaches are displayed in the formation of the architectural work, have been discussed. As a working method; data collection and tracing methods were used among qualitative methods. An evaluation table was created under the main headings of construction technique and application decisions, materials used, different basic design parameters and shaping structure. By making inferences from the table containing the store examples, the attitude of reflecting the brand identity with the help of architecture was tried to be obtained. Although there are formal differences within the scope of the evaluation, it has been observed that building materials, design and shaping parameters that reflect the era in general are emphasized. In detail; it can be said that geometric forms are preferred, glass is in demand in the decision of building materials, and innovative pursuits are sought in applications. As a result, it has been taken into consideration that the preferred design parameters, the construction technique or material properties used in the shaping of the buildings have an important share when constructing a commercial space with high brand value. It is thought that this study will feed the design phase in terms of architectural ethics. |
