Özet |
This study investigated learning modalities of undergraduate students in terms of their gender, departments, grades and academic achievements. The modalities/styles (visual, auditory and kinaesthetic) indicate learning preferences and help students find ways to study effectively, reach new information and solve problems. The study was conducted with a sample group of randomly chosen 249 undergraduate students from different departments at Ahi Evran University, Turkey in the year 2013-2014. In order to gather the data,“BIG-16, Learning Modality Inventory”, developed by Åžimsek was conducted. The internal reliability coefficient (Cronbach Alpha) of the inventory was calculated as 0.846.
