| This study was carried out to determine growth performance and liveability traits of hybrid turkeys reared until slaughter time under intensive conditions in Afyon province, Başmakçı district. In the study, current records of enterprise were used for the liveability traits of animals and also, live weight records which were obtained every three weeks were evaluated for 150 female, 150 male, totally 300 turkey. It was detected that female and male turkey were slaughtered at the 15th weeks of age and 19th weeks of age. At the end of these periods, while live weights of females were 9680 kg, live weights of males were also detected as 17340 g. In addition to this, daily gains were determined as 142 g and 132 g for female and male turkey, respectively. When the liveability traits on a weekly basis were analysed, it was seen that liveability values for females were 98-99% and 96.40% at the beginning and at the end of growing period, respectively. Same values were detected as 97-98% and 93.14% for males for the same periods, respectively. As conclusion, the enterprise has production utilized earning incomes with the reference of their records. Additionally, it was thought that the incomes were more than present with keep recording more straight and attentive way. |
