Özet
After cataract surgery, ophthalmic solutions containing antiinflammatory and antiinfective drugs are administered to minimize the risk for possible complications. A fixed-dose combination of diclofenac plus tobramycin has been shown to be well tolerated after cataract surgery. 1, 2 Corneal melting has been reported as a possible complication of diclofenac use after cataract and refractive surgical procedures. 3–5 An 83-year-old woman was treated with a topical fixed-dose combination of diclofenac 0.1% plus tobramycin 0.3%(Ocubrax) 4 times daily after uneventful cataract surgery. On the first postoperative day, slitlamp examination revealed mild corneal edema. Three weeks later, the patient returned with a red and painful eye.
