Cenopalpus pulcher (Canestrini & Fanzago, 1876) is the most common phytophagous species followed by Pentamerismus oregonensis McGregor, 1949 and Pentamerismus taxi (Haller, 1877), Cupressaceae is the most important and preferred host plants for the Tenuipalpidae.
