Özet |
In the business world where change is experienced quickly, person-organization fit and organizational politics are important issues for both employees and organizations. Employees who are incompatible with the organization can perceive their working environment as political. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of person-organization fit on organizational politics and to analyze whether demographic variables play moderating roles in the relationship between these two variables. The sample of this study consist of academicians working at the State Universities in Turkey (n= 552). According to the findings of the research, it is seen that there is a negative relationship between person-organization fit and organizational politics. In addition, it was determined that demographic variables do not play moderating roles in the relationship between person-organization fit and organizational politics. Finally, it was emphasized that the study had some limitations and some suggestions were given to those who would conduct research on similar topics in the future. |
