| Somatic chromosome numbers and karyotype of Hippocrepis unisiliquosa ssp. unisiliquosa L. and Hippocrepis ciliata L. (Leguminosae) collected from Turkey were examined. Chromosome numbers were determined as 2n = 2x = 14 in Hippocrepis unisiliquosa ssp. unisiliquosa L. and Hippocrepis ciliata.
