Proje Konusu Three dinuclear copper (II) complexes (1, 2 and 3) of chiral Schiff bases prepared by reaction of o-hydroxybenzaldehyde and chiral amino alcohols (S)-(+)-phenylglycinol, (1S, 2R)-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethanol, and (R)-(+)-2-amino-1,1,3-triphenylpropanol have been synthesized and characterizated by using elemental analyses, FTIR, LCMS, magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurement techniques. These compounds were examined for effects on glutathione reductase. The best inhibitory effect has been shown to complex 3.
