Özet
This study aims to evaluate the current situation of the Turkish audiovisual industry by conducting comprehensive field research. It focuses on the structure of the industry, the problems it faces, and potential areas for development by drawing on the opinions of different key figures. Through interviews with key industry stakeholders, the study offers an in-depth assessment, addressing its challenges and opportunities. During the study, interviews were carried out with 22 professionals operating in eight different fields of the Turkish audiovisual industry. The data obtained were divided into predetermined codes and analysed using MAXQDA. To provide a portrait, the descriptive codes allowed comparisons to be made between industry representatives and offered valuable contextual insights about each participant.
